Statistics There are five different stats to determine the strength of your character. Hit Points (HP), Magic Power (MP), Attack, Defense, and Magic. Statistics, or Stats, are a part of your characters combat ability. They are used to represent how strong, fast, durable and accurate your character is. Whether they are are weak or tough, your Stats will determine that. Each and every character has five Statistics and they are; HP, MP, Attack, Defense and Magic. Each Statistic represents a different combat ability of your character. Statistics are most used in battle, but should be taken into account during regular role play. Upon creating your character you start with the default amount of Stat Points depending on your character class. You gain Stat Points by leveling up You may also gain Stat Points via a site event. Please note that a Statistic must have at least 1 in it. Hit Points (HP) - Hit Points or commonly referred to as HP is the health of a character. When this hits Zero the character is incapacitated. They become incapacitated for four posts and wake up automatically or if someone revives them. Max: 400 Magic Power (MP) - Magic Power or Mp is used for spells and other abilities. Each skill has a set number of MP Points that it consumes upon use. If you run out of MP, you can't use anymore skills until it recharges. MP recharges by 2 points each post. Strength- Attack is the strength of a character. The actual Strength status of a character determines its overall physical power used to inflict damage to an enemy; the more the Strength value, the greater the damage inflicted to an enemy. Defense - The ability to evade or sustain damage. Defense follows similar mechanics as Strength and are both primary factors of successive battle, so having high values in both areas can denote a good balance and also success in battle. Magic - It boosts ability and magical strength. Unlike fighting, which seems to be able to be mastered by practice alone, it appears that magic must be taught, learned, and studied. The amount of damage caused by an individual spell is governed by the spell's base power combined with either the caster's max MP. |
